Hi, I’m Youyang, a seasoned industry researcher in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Memory Systems. I lead a deep learning research team at Kioxia Corporation, Japan, where I explore the intersection of memory, intelligence, and perception in vision and language models. With over 14 years of industrial R&D experience (Kioxia, Toshiba) and 40+ patents and publications (ECCV, EMNLP, ACCV, etc.), my work bridges academic insight and real-world impact. I have served as a reviewer for top conferences and received outstanding reviewer recognition at EMNLP. The tools I co-developed inspect and analyze millions of visual data daily in social infrastructure & semiconductor industries. I am a Senior Member of IEEE and hold a B.Eng from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. I speak English, Japanese, Chinese, and Malay.
